Can't find a job in law enforcement?

Based on what you wrote, you sound like a very good candidate. Believe it or not, it can take more than a couple years to get hired, especially today. Getting police officer jobs is becoming more and more competitive. Due to the economy, many departments aren't hiring. Some have recently laid officers off. Many departments that are hiring aren't hiring as many as they would like to. There are many more qualified applicants than there are jobs. Don't get discouraged. What kind of scores have you been getting on the civil service tests? Have you had any interviews. Getting a high score on the civil service tests and doing very well during interviews is very important. Best of luck!
