If I was designed so perfectly, why did I have a gall bladder?

Mine went bad and had to be removed. In fact, the surgeon told me that if I had waited any longer, my own gall bladder would have killed me? If the logic of a perfect design indicates "intelligent design", then why do people have unneccessary organs which can do more harm than good (like my gall bladder or an appendix)?
