Is it ok to feed if I've had really bad diahrrea?

I'm not sure if it's something I ate or what. I haven't had anything out of the ordinary, but it is BAD! I'm afraid whatever is making me hurt so bad would be bad for her. But I've read if your sick you can still feed bc the baby can build immunity to what you have, but I didn't know about diarrhea.
