Will my extremely low high school grades prevent me from going to the school I want?

My godmother/aunt, who raised me since I was born died the summer before my 9th grade year. So throughout all my freshman year I got low grades and I mean low I ped only one cl that year. I was so unmotivated and going through a depression that I couldn't care less whether I did good or not. I finally snapped out of it midway through the 10th grade but it was to late I was asked to leave the school and was enrolled in a independent studies program to get my credits that I lacked. So I did all that and was showing improvement and finished a year earlier than I was suppose to. Well anyways I enrolled into a local community college and I have at the moment 18 credits and have a 3.8 and I recently got my ACT score back and got a 29 on that. Anyways my question is will the school I want to attend (Wake Forest) even consider me because of my low high school grades?
