No, not necessarily. Just because you are unsure about your faith doesn't make you an athiest. An athiest in my mind actively proclaims that God doesn't exist as a fact. I am a religious person and have nothing against either athiests or agnostics, unless they make remarks just to annoy people. I am not the most conservative of Christians, though, and once was even called an athiest myself because of an odd misunderstanding. Being unsure of God isn't a bad thing. You can't come to know Him instantly, and being confused sounds like a normal part of agnosticism. You just need to be open to other people's thoughts on God and on life in general to find what you truly believe in.
